Not pre-paid funeral plans, but other useful sources.
The Public Guardianship Office (PGO) is the administrative arm of the Court of Protection and part of the Department for Constitutional Affairs. Established on the 1st of April 2001, we took over the mental health functions previously undertaken by the Public Trust Office (which also included the work of the Court Funds Office and Trust Division). We are responsible for providing services which promote the financial and social well being of people with mental incapacity. We are based in North London, and have responsibilities that extend across the whole of England and Wales (separate arrangements exist for Scotland and Northern Ireland).
